As the ShiftVET project approaches its final stage, ASLAM organised a dissemination event in Italy as part of Activity A3.3, bringing together 23 participants to share the main results and experiences developed throughout the project.
The event provided an opportunity to present the work carried out by the ShiftVET partnership in Spain, Italy and Latvia and to explore how digital technologies can contribute to the modernisation of Vocational Education and Training.
Participants were introduced to the main resources and practical experiences developed within ShiftVET, with particular attention to the integration of technologies such as 3D printing, 3D scanning and CNC machining into VET teaching and learning activities.
The session also offered a space to reflect on the practical implementation of these technologies and on how the knowledge and resources generated by ShiftVET can support teachers and training organisations interested in strengthening the digital dimension of their programmes.
The exchange with participants was particularly valuable for discussing the opportunities and challenges associated with digitalisation in vocational education and for gathering perspectives that can support the final stage of the project.
The conclusions from the Italian event, together with those collected during the A3.3 events organised in Latvia and Spain, will contribute to the finalisation of the ShiftVET Implementation Guide. This final project resource will bring together the experience gained throughout ShiftVET and provide practical guidance for VET institutions interested in integrating digital technologies into their educational activities.
With 23 participants, the event organised by ASLAM represented another important step in transferring ShiftVET results beyond the project partnership and supporting their future use within the wider VET community.
