The European ShiftVET Project Kicks Off

We promote a modern, high-quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, aligned with the real challenges of today’s labour market.

Over the next 13 months, the ShiftVET project will focus on updating VET in the wood sector, a strategic field due to its key role in innovation, sustainability and the creation of future-oriented employment.

This initiative is being developed in collaboration with educational institutions from Spain, Latvia and Italy, specifically the José Luis Castillo Puche Institute (Yecla), the Rīgas Mākslas un mediju tehnikums school and the ASLAM centre. By combining experience and best practices, the project aims to strengthen a VET system that is more closely connected to industry and to the needs of new generations.

ShiftVET Objectives

To contribute to the development of a more competitive, innovative and sustainable Europe.

To update training curricula in the wood sector in response to emerging challenges.

To promote European cooperation in the field of Vocational Education and Training.
