The ShiftVET consortium is pleased to announce the publication of the project’s second newsletter, marking the successful completion of Activity 2 and presenting the main achievements reached during this phase of the project.
Throughout Activity 2, project partners worked together to validate innovative vocational education and training (VET) approaches based on three key manufacturing technologies: 3D Printing, 3D Scanning and CNC machining. The activities involved teachers, trainers and VET students from the partner countries, who participated in practical learning experiences and provided valuable feedback to support the continuous improvement of the project’s methodology, the exercises and all the training resources.
The second newsletter provides an overview of the work carried out during this phase, including the implementation of pilot activities, the evaluation process conducted with participants and the main conclusions extracted from the results. These findings have confirmed both the relevance of the selected technologies and the potential of ShiftVET to strengthen digital and technical competences within vocational education.
The completion of Activity 2 represents an important milestone for the project. Building on the knowledge gathered during the pilots, the consortium has now started Activity 3, which focuses on analyzing the transferability of the results to other sectors and VET courses, developing an implementation guide for trainers, students, and other stakeholders, and organizing a closing event to reach more people with this project
